The releasable mechanism allows for quick and easy installation. Ties remain locked until intentionally released.

So, with so many re-usable options, why would anyone use a traditional tie? It’s true that releasable ties help you cut down on waste, but there is a cost. Releasable and re-usable ties are more expensive per unit than many traditional examples, and this can really add up when you’re using them in an application that may require several thousand ties.

Especially if those ties are going to need to stay in place for a long time. Non-releasable ties are also more resistant to tampering since to be removed they must be cut off, as opposed to simply releasing the latch. But for smaller applications where ties may be temporary, using a releasable example could save money and cut down on waste.

These uncoated versions are extremely good for higher temperature applications. Increased usable length , it allows larger bundle diameters with the same tie length… These steel cable ties are UL Recognized and offer good flame resistance.

Type 304 Stainless Steel cable ties: Type 304 is an all-purpose austenitic, low carbon18-8 chromium-nickel stainless steel. It has good corrosion resistance to weldability. Type 304 is the most widely used stainless steel. It is found in chemical and food processing equipment, hospital and paper mill equipment, heat exchangers, etc.

Type 316 Stainless Steel cable ties: Type 316 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless and heat resisting steel with superior corrosion resistance.
